Did anybody think this wouldn't happen? How would they keep the codes registered to the discs?
I realize that it's easy to read and believe, but sometimes you have to use common sense. No offense intended towards anybody, but you MUST'VE seen this coming.
I don't like the title 'Fastest card on the planet'.
Every time a new card is released, it could be classified as 'The fastest card on the planet'. Cards are release ALL THE TIME. That means about every couple of months, we have a new Worlds Fastest Card. I'm not saying its incorrect, I'm just saying its a silly way to classify a cards speed.
And what defines fast anyways? I know this card will play any game faster than any other card(There might be an exception...
Not to be rude and/or fanboyish, but I really did think "WHY?!?" when I read the title. After thinking about it I remembered the 'shortages' that may or may not be true(who am I to decide?).
That just goes to show, though, that their PR spin didn't stick in my mind. I never 100% disbelieved them, but I guess I also chose to not believe them.
Lets hope that it wasn't a lie and this turns things around for the 360 a bit. Personally, I REALLY hope they bre...
HE DOES!!!
It'd look a bit better if you flipped the hat the other way though. Assuming you made it, that is.
As far as the Wii being a paper weight, I think it's too objective to say.
"well kidies enjoy your $250 paper weight because you got Smash Bros. and Mario Kart and that's it." -you
No, those games aren't all they have. Those are the only games that interest YOU. What do you think people are buying the Wii for before those games? People certainly aren't going to buy something they know isn't good. Besides, If it turned out to be as bad of an experience a...
Video games didn't CAUSE this, they AIDED it. I'm not trying to put down video games, I'm just saying that they triggered the flashback, and he probably shouldn't have played a war video game so soon after coming back from war and seeing his BEST FRIEND DECAPITATED.
I know mulitple things come into play here, and that video games didn't mess him up. I know that blame can't be placed on any one thing. I also know that without COD4 and a controller in this guys hand he might stil...
I think video games might be responsible for this one. Not on their own, of course, but they could've caused the flashback.
Everybody is different. Some people, no matter what therapy they get, can't get past killing so many other human beings. My grandpa wakes up whimpering at night and twitches all over the place, and he STILL gets therapy. Hes even got medicine for it.
On that level in COD4 when you had to fly in the plane and bomb the people down below, I act...
Dude, get your own.
Edit: Ramzadel beat me to it by a long shot. Guess I shouldn't have left the page sitting there for so long and then coming back w/o refreshing XD
I apologize in advance and realize that my comment might be a bit fanboyish. Please realize that is is all in good humor and I do love the 360 as a gaming console
So here it goes:
Maybe, but Ninety-Something percent of ALL next gen consoles that break are 360's.
Finally! We can all design games without an education:
EA IS HIRING!!!!!
pc > console
+ Top of the line performance, bar none.(scalable, if you wish to save a bit)
+ developer support
+ competition of developers
+ living room gaming
+ Best online gaming(usually free)
etc etc
I actually do like consoles more than the pc for gaming, but your points kinda stand for both XD
The real reason consoles are better is because of ACCESSIBILITY. Since everybody can do it, most people do...
It really depends on the RPG. If it has a great story, I want to get through that story as fast as possible while still having the story told to me in a good manner. It's like a book you want to hurry up and finish because it's just so good. The need to find out what happens makes you forget about power leveling and super special swords.
If the battle system is the games strongpoint, Then I can play the game until my character is maxed out and I have unlocked everything, regard...
Yeah, I guess anything is possible. That'd be pretty ridiculous though.
I wonder why they would want to know how many people still own a dreamcast? Companies don't usually waste time or resources just because they are curious, so there HAS to be a reason.
I'm going to go ahead and get my hopes unacceptably and unreasonably high for Dreamcast 2. Why else would they want to know? Dreamcast 1 had a great start and was a great machine that was met with misfortune/bad luck. Sega didn't really mess up with the hardware of the dreamcast at all(unlike the ...
You mean that site that's up for Auction? Yeah, good place. I go there every day to see if anybody has bought it yet. Exciting stuff.
HAHA I'm just kidding with you. It really is for sale now though. Wierd timing, huh?
What kind of day have you had, Extra?
Am I the only one not interested in this game AT ALL?
The idea behind it seems great, it looks fun, and every time I read about it I leave with a positive impression. Problem is, I forget about it right when I close the browser.
Anyone else?
Well you're a doctor, so that shouldn't pose TOO big of a problem.
Still though, no anesthetics allowed! Only a tourniquet and stitches. Maybe a beer.
I think this line here is the most important:
01/19/2008 03:43 AM 4,976,256 CORE_OS_PACKAGE.pkg
The CORE OPERATING SYSTEM is being updated. Anyone care for rampant speculation as to how this could be the in-game xmb? I do. IT IS! maybe.
I'm not going to report or anything, but I swear I've seen this before. At least a few months ago.
Oh well. Its still a neat video XD
